The installation process is bogged down slightly by pop-ups asking you to install third-party software, such as Opera. There are even buttons in this mini-interface for clearing RAM and taking screenshots. Clicking on this opens up a little performance monitor with tabs for RAM, CPU, Disk, and Metrics. IObit Advanced SystemCare Free also has a tiny desktop widget that shows your current RAM and CPU usage. There are only two skins, but the Readable skin feels more fitting to a corporate environment. If you look on the reviews, you'll see that I'm not the first person to experience this. I had to restore an older version of my system, and lost extremely important photographs, documents, etc. Within a matter of twenty minutes, my entire computer was frozen. After returning to my computer, it was extremely slow and most programs didn't work anymore. When I told him I was going to hang up the phone, he began begging me not to hang up. I told him there was something suspicious going on, and he continued to assure me it was standard procedure. He continued to alter major system settings until I had almost no more control of my computer anymore.
Directions were given, and I started to lose control of your computer, almost immediately. He asked me what version of Windows I was running and what browser I was using. Once I called the number, an agent stated that he must install a "technical support" applet in order to activate ASC. Issue Description: Once I purchased Advanced System Care on the iObit website, two phone numbers immediately appeared (on their site) stating that I must call one of the two numbers in order to get the activation code.
